Welcoming the prompt and focused attention by the Narendra Modi-led NDA government, the party said that the Union Home Ministry has allocated an amount of Rs 5000 crore to settle locals along the border.
"The ministry also proposes to create 54 new ITBP posts and construction of fast track roads along the Sino-Indo international border in Arunachal Pradesh. The policy will highly benefit the people living along the border," Necha pointed out.
The party also welcomed the move of the Union Ministry of Environment & Forests to launch a new system for online submission of application to speed up clearance for constructing border roads and strategically important projects in a transparent manner.
