"The probe report submitted to the state government have found no fault of ministers in purchase and supply of medicines to government hospitals," Manjhi told reporters.
"Action has been taken against ten officials and there is no need for further action against anyone," he said.
When Health Minister Ramdhani Singh's comments was sought on whether more action would be taken by the state government, he said, "I don't not know about the probe report. I am like a letter box... whatever (file) comes to me, I clear it. I come to know about things after action is already initiated."
The Chief Minister, however, said, "the probe report was still being reviewed."
Interestingly, both Manjhi and Singh were talking to reporters on the sidelines of a "Janata ke Darbar mein Mukhya Mantri" programme.
Opposition BJP has been extremely critical over purchase and supply of "substandard" medicines at a higher price by a government appointed committee to government hospitals.
The issue came to light when a patient hailing from Banka died in Bhagalpur after being administered medicines early this year.
