FC Goa take on India U-19 on Saturday

Ahead of the Indian Super League, which begins on October 12, the franchise has been practicing with various football clubs and had blanked Sesa Football Academy by three goals a few days ago.

During the match, FC Goa coach Zico noticed that left back position was found wanting and has decided to rope in Brazilian left-back Andre Santos (formerly with Arsenal) who will reach before their first match against Chennaiyin FC on October 15.

FC Goa, who wanted to field all Dempo players, had to make a last-minute change bringing in Mohun Bagan's Bikramjit Singh in place of injured Pronay Halder who got wounded during India's match against UAE at the Asian Games last month.

Singh had his training session yesterday under the watchful eyes of Zico. They have also included goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh in the team list which they have sumitted to IMG-Reliance, organisers of ISL.
