The Kolkata have taken the services of WV Raman as batting coach for the upcoming IPL season.
Commenting on the announcement, KKR CEO Venky Mysore said, "We are delighted to have Raman join our coaching staff. He becomes part of a strong core group of Trevor Bayliss, Wasim Akram and Vijay Dahiya."
Raman, who is the coach of the Tamil Nadu Ranji team, previously had a stint with Bengal as their coach. He has also worked with another IPL franchise, Punjab as a coach.
"His experience with the Bengal team and at the Eden Gardens will be really useful going into the new season," said Venky Mysore. Read more..
