He may have disappointed movie critics by being part of 'Jai Ho' which quite honestly has nothing interesting to offer, but his ardent fans continue to support him. Unfazed by the criticism that has come his way post the release of 'Jai Ho', and its failure at getting a much-expected bumper opening, the star made sure he didn't forget to thank his fans for their support.
Salman took to Twitter to praise and thank all those who watched the film and appreciated the team's efforts.
His tweet read, "Thank u to all the fans who have seen JAI HO n liked it , I totally appreciate it guys . U been wonderful . God bless .(sic)"
Directed by Sohail Khan, the film features Daisy Shah opposite Salman. It was not received well by most of the critics while 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Dabangg 2' had got mixed reviews. Almost all the reviewers had said that these two films were high on entertainment despite illogical content which, in a way, had set the path for these films.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has not reached the Rs 100 crore mark in first four days, which was anticipated by trade pundits. He tweets, "#JaiHo passes the crucial 'Monday test'. Collects ₹ 9.50 cr. Total: 70.18 cr nett. India biz only."
