Salman Khan's latest offering Jai Ho has collected Rs 100 crores worldwide after releasing on January 24.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: #JaiHo opng wknd: India *nett* Rs 60.68 cr, *gross* Rs 78.90 cr. Overseas *gross* Rs 22.38 cr. Worldwide total [gross]: Rs101.28 cr.
However, here's why the pundits aren't expecting this to set the box office office on fire unlike Salman's previous blockbusters which include Ek Tha Tiger, Bodyguard and the Dabangg films. Jai Ho collected just over Rs 17 crores on it's opening day - a figure that compares badly with the opening day collections of his other films.
"When Ek Tha Tiger released in 2012, it collected around Rs 30 crore on its opening day," analyst Rajesh Thadani told news agency IANS.
