Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial nominee, on Wednesday took on the Congress as well as Aam Aadmi Party over Jammu and Kashmir and said his party is the only option for the country while addressing a rally in Jammu's Hiranagar.
This is one of 185 Bharat Vijay rallies that the Gujarat chief minister will address throughout the country.
"Whenever I speak of development, the Congress counters it with false claims on secularism,"Modi said.
He said BJP is the only party left for the people of this country who want to see development of the counrty.
Modi also took a jibe at Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah and said if Abdullah sees the crowd he will realise which way the wind is blowing in the state.
Abdullah was quick to react to Modi's jab on Twitter.
"NaMo certainly plays fast & loose with the truth. He quotes me & can't even get that right. Modi Sb please quote me but do it right," he posted.
The Gujarat chief minister raised the issue of the exodus of Kashmiri pandits from the state and also the deaths of soldiers on the India-Pakistan border.
"Terrorists didn't just kill people in Jammu and Kashmir, they attacked Kashmiriyat and struck at the core of humanity," he said.
"Lal Bahadur Shastri said 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan', but Congress' slogan today is 'Mar Jawan, Mar Kisan'."
He did not spare Kejriwal, who on Tuesday challenged him to a political debate in Varanasi after announcing he will fight against him in the holy town.
"There are three people who are being praised in Pakistan - they are three AKs - AK 47, AK Antony and AK 49."
"This AK-49 in his website shows Kashmir as a part of Pakistan. And his close aide wants referendum in Kashmir," he added.
