Bollywood actor Salman Khan was scheduled to record his statement at the Jodhpur court in connection with the Blackbuck poaching case.
The earlier hearing was held in late January when Salman had appealed to the court saying he was not in possession of arms while he went hunting. He had, in fact, blamed the Forest Department for framing him, as he called for all his arms from Mumbai after they apparently asked him to.
The said incident happened when Salman and his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s film Hum Saath Saath Hain way back in 1998. The other stars have not been charged with poaching but only inciting Salman to shoot.
Salman has signed on to star in Sooraj’s new film opposite Sonam Kapoor.
