Madhuri Dixit-Nene is all for working towards women empowerment along with promoting her movie Gulaab Gang.
She plays Rajjo in the movie, a lady who is driven to correct the wrongs society does against women. She crusades for the empowerment of women through education so that men will cease to view her as an object and instead respect her for the living breathing person that she is.
Madhuri who was trained by Kanishka Sharma for the movie even showed off some of her moves in a suburban Mumbai gym to some of the local ladies. Madhuri further said that she has begun the education she wishes to impart to women nationwide through her online dance academy. She hopes to do more in the near future.
Always known for her dance moves, now it seems she wishes to make a mark for herself with her fighting moves. The movie is slate to release on the 7th of March.
